This water damage in Decatur, IL was the result of a broken pipe. The area that was affected was the finished basement.  With most of the basement carpeted, all the carpeting and padding had to be removed.  Before SERVPRO could remove the carpeting and padding, they had to extract all the water from the carpet and pad.   The water covered a majority of the floor. The drywall was completely saturated at the bottom as well. The bottom portion of the drywall was removed. Our remediation technicians successfully removed the water from the basement.
